Industry leading 720 led chips per light along with both primary and secondary optics optimizes light output, spectral blending, and efficiency. Designed for simplicity, reliability, and ease of installation. When compared on a per watt consumption basis, the XXX light is up to 61% more efficient in PAR generation than current LED lights on the market. We designed a unique, science based spectrum that incorporates the correct ratios of violet, blue, cyan, green, and 4000k white leds to hit all of the peak absorbance wavelengths for corals. The result is a natural looking light that is designed for the health of the corals, and provides accurate fish coloration. An easy to clean heat sink without fans was a paramount design consideration to simplify maintenance and failures associated with fan cooled LED light designs. Additionally, the gasketed primary lens was designed to ensure that you can clean the light with water and cloth. One light can easily be cleaned in under 5 minutes. 0-10v dimmable if you want full control for your lighting period. 3 wattage selectable if you want to quickly adjust the light output for a large installation. The radial primary lens is a first for the aquarium industry that allows blending of light and punch to penetrate deep tanks. The secondary reflector eliminates glare and eliminates shadowing that is typical of current LED reef lighting options by creating multiple lighting angles, much like metal halide and T-5 reflector designs.
This light comes in two forms, with and without reflector and they each have their applications that are best suited for.
With Reflector: you gain the most efficient operation of the light and operating costs are minimized this is especially important for public aquarium applications, large home aquaria applications, and aquculture facilities. The light will cover a 3’x3’ area for most applications. For the latter, it is becoming more and more important to minimize your operating costs. You will not find a more economical light for your reef. The reflector also maximized spectral blending and minimizes glare.
Without reflector
Best suited for midsize home aquariums and smaller aquaculture applications. The light can be mounted closer to the waterline thus minimizing the space considerations. Also without the reflector you can achive sleek mounting solutions for the home aquarium.
